Bio.
Internationally seasoned, multidisciplinary artist Stee Andrews began his journey onstage with Musical Theatre, before quite literally, running away with the Circus.
After studying at WAAPA, proceeded by 5 years of high end corporate shows, festival circuits, cabarets and big top special events, he realised it was time to shake the sawdust from his boots; recently returning his focus to Australian screen projects.
Film/TV credits include; the rough, loveable Scottish butcher Johnny in ScreenWest's Elevate series 'Single Ladies' and Hugo one half of Queer power couple in ABC’s ‘The Heights', Simon in 'Stronger' the short film exploring female fights for justice and Hugh in LGBTQIA+ series'Iggy & Ace 5eva' for SBS OnDemand.
Theatrical credits include; workshopping with Franco Dragone Entertainment and reshaping the principal role Jean in the 2017 cast change over at 'The House of Dancing Water' in Macau, originating the role of The King/Orangutan in immersive experience 'A Midnight Visit' across Perth & Melbourne, principal roles in three popular Korean stage shows; 'Tayo The Little Bus', 'Larva' & 'RoboCar Poli' each making their Musical debut in Southeast Asia, multiple entertainment residencies with Crown Resorts and as actor/mover in the Australian tour of 'Anna Karenina' presented by The Australian Ballet.
Stee was also a featured returning cast member with French large scale physical theatre company, 'Royal De Luxe' on ‘The Incredible & Phenomenal Journey of The Giants to the Streets of Perth' presented by Perth Festival and ‘Les Geants - La grande invitation!’ presented by Festival 375MTL Québec, Canada.
Attracting over 1.4 Million Australian audience members, the show was later the recipient of a prestigious Helpmann Award.
